两个都正确。

依据章振邦的新编英语语法，

有的名词如attemp, chance，effort, freedom在其后用不定式或介词+ing分词均可，意义无甚不同。

比如：

The doctor made a bold attempt to save/ at saving the childs life.

The liberated people will have the freedom to choose /of choosing their own social system.
