我今天在语法网https://www.cpsenglish.com/question/38437上看到如此一道题：
Ineed one more stamp before my collection is 或者 has been completed.
有些老师说is/hasbeen都可以，有些老师说只能is.
第一，关于在before从句中用完成时和一般时的理解辨析：

我在英语语法网上看到以下句子：
1)Youcan't go home before I've signed the letters.
2)Hewent out before I had finished my sentence.
3)Wehad got to the station before the train left.
4)Thebell struck thirteen times before it had sTOPped
5)Wegot to the station before the train had left.
我觉得1），2），3），4）都是正确的。
但我觉得第5句是不对的，由于第5句大概大家到达车站时，火车可能已经离开了！
同理，这一句Before he had entered the institute, Jim served in the army. - 我觉得这句逻辑上也有问题，仔细领会，我感觉before不可以用过去完成时。
我的剖析：
上面第5）句，before thetrain had left, 假设火车离开是4点，那样before从句的时间大概是4:01以前，所以，大家到达时，火车大概已经离开了。
上面第6）句，before hehad entered the institute, 假设Jim是2000年进入学院，那样before从句的时间大概是2001年以前，此时Jim可能不是served inthe army, 也会是在学院里。
所以，就提问的句子before my collection has been completed而言，假设采集发生完成的动作发生在下午1点，那样before从句的时间就大概是下午2点，那样2点之前，则大概是1-2点之间，此时，已经无需邮票了，由于1点已经采集完成了。
所以用beforehas been completed是不对的。
不了解我以上个人理解剖析是不是有误？麻烦请尊敬的老师专家们批评指正！

剑桥语法的意思是：before从句谓语动词若是短暂动词，从句与一般过去时或过去完成时在时间上差异非常小，事实上是被忽视的，所以表达的意思基本是相同的，所以过去完成时可以用一般过去时替换。假如从句谓语动作持续的时间相对较长，比如write the paper写论文，所需的时间可能是好几个月。此时从句用一般过去时则主句的动作在开始写论文之前发生。假如从句用过去完成时，则大概主句的动作发生时论文已经开始写了，只不过未完成。这个时候从句用一般过去时和过去完成时意义就不同了。你根据剑桥语法的这种讲解去理解即可。
