从逻辑关系剖析“世界其它地方（的总和）”应该是“the other parts of the world”。但，从网上搜索看，好像只有“other parts of the world ”（没 the）。请问到底是不是应该用the？谢谢指教。
我觉得，应该选择other，不是the other。即：
Forty percent of the cranes live in Zhalong（扎龙）Nature Reserve. Sity percent of them live in other parts of the world.
the other parts of the world 和other parts of the world，是“特指与泛指有什么区别”，不是“全部和部分有什么区别”。就这个句子而言，根本没必要加定冠词the，由于other parts 这个定义，前文并没提及，此时不应特指。
不要觉得加了the 就是特意指“全部剩余的定义”。
就本句而言，other parts of the world 的意思是：
除去“扎龙”这个地方外，还生活在“世界的其他地方”。
parts 意味着“不是一个地方”，“是多个地方”。
具体什么地方，不了解。
具体有多少地方，不了解。
既然都不了解，为什么要加定冠词呢？
那样，什么时间用the other parts of the world 呢？当然有。
比如：“资料显示，全球共有15种鹤，一共分布在世界20个区域，这类区域分别是：（省略）。其中，有40% 生活在黑龙江齐齐哈尔扎龙自然保护区，60% 生活在世界的其他地方。”
这个时候，大家就说：
