这句话为何用be而不是are呢？

这不是一个完整的句子，只不过一个though 引导的让步从句。

本句用are当然没错，说明你就是“受宠的仆人”。但在让步从句中用动词原形，表示一种假设或虚拟的使用方法，意味着主语“即使那样，但实质不是那样”，说明“你实质并非受宠的仆人”，只不过一种假设“即使是；即使是”。又如：

He will never do such a thing though he be forced to.

即便强迫他，他也决不会干如此的事。

Though he be the Headmaster himself, he shall agree to our plan.

即使他是校长本人，也需要服从大家的计划。

Without it, though he be not guilty, he faces the danger of conviction because he does not knowhow to establish his innocence.
