在传统语法的框架下讨论虚拟语气：

Its time we ordered dinner. （虚拟语气）

目前该叫菜了。

我改写成下面2种：

Its time we should order dinner.

Its tume we were to order dinner.

改写的对吗？分别的意思是呢？是与以后事实相反的假设吗？怎么样翻译呢？（和Its time we ordered dinner 比较区别意思）。

Its time we ordered dinner. 正确。从句为过去式虚拟语气。

Its time we should order dinner. 正确。从句为陈述语气，情态动词should表示现在的必要性。

以上二句意思一样，都是该做某事了。第一句更为常用。

Its time we were to order dinner. 错误。没如此的表达方法。
