tell me the news （正）
tell me the accident （误。学生常常犯这个错误，觉得跟news 是一回事）
消息、故事、名字等词汇，都可以作 tell 的直接宾语。
而事故、家人、童年等词汇，逻辑上是不可以作 tell 的直接宾语的，需要在前面加一个“关于” 的介词（of 或 about），让其变成间接的内容。比如：
