A:How is your online jeans business these days?

A:你那个在网上卖牛仔裤的买卖近期如何?

B:Well, not as good as at the beginning.

B:不像刚开始那样好了。

A:Oh, why? They were selling like hot cakes last year.

A:为何?去年还卖得很热门呢。

B:Yes, they were. But now, my friend who was working in that factory which provided me with jeans is not working there anymore, and the factory refused to give me a low price and the delivery is always very late.

B:去年是。可是那个原本在我的供货厂商工作的朋友,目前不在那儿干了。厂商拒绝给我底价供货,而且还一直延期供货。

A:I see,was your friend the factory manager?

A:哦,你的朋友是那个工厂的经理?

B:No, but he was in charge of the sales department. And he could make the decision to sell the jeans to me at a big discount. And now the new manager of that department is really difficult to deal with.

B:不是。不过他负责销售部。而且他有权做主以大打折卖给我牛仔裤。可目前那个新的部门经理特难应对。

A:That's a big problem since demand is increasing,and if you can't supply anymore then your customers will go elsewhere.

A:这可是个大麻烦。再说目前需要不断增长,你如果不可以准时供货,客户就全都流失了。

B:Yes,I know.I have tried my best but now I am at my wit's end.Do you have any good idea?

B:是的,我了解。我已经尽全力了,目前真的不了解如何解决好了。你有哪些好主意吗?

A:I think you can talk to the sales department again,show them how much potential business you have and how much business you have done.Make them understand that you are an important customer to them that they can't ignore.

A:我感觉你得再跟销售部谈谈,告诉他们你有多少潜在的商业机会,已经做成了多少交易。让他们了解你是一个不容忽略的要紧顾客。

B:Actually, I have talked to them seriously many times, but that new guy still pays no attention to me.

B:其实,我已经跟他们非常认真地谈过好几次了。可那个新来的家伙还是对我满不在乎。

A:Then, I guess you have to look for other suppliers.

A:那我感觉你得找个新的供货商了。

B:Yes, I am but it is always difficult when they know that you are selling online. They are more willing to sell it to the wholesaler.

B:是的,我了解,可他们一听说我是在网上卖,就不想给我供货了,他们更想卖给批发商。

A:Then it is their loss.

B:What should I do?
