偶然看到一个例句：He was punished for what he had done.
记得for只不过一个并列连词，不可以引导缘由状语从句，那这里的for what 结构如何讲解呢？what he had done是一个从句吗？
你忘了for还是个介词。介词后接名词、动名词或wh从句。
what在此为融合型关系代词，= the thing which. 引导的是名词性关系分词，等于一个名词组。
He was punished for what he had done.
= He was punished forthe thing whichhe had done.
