The chimp1 黑猩猩 at the centre of this study, an alpha male 超南，男性中的男性 in his 30s called Santino, lives at Furuvik Zoo to the north of Stockholm.
His war against the visiting public began in the 1990s, when he got into the habit 形成了习惯 of collecting stones from the moat 壕沟 surrounding his artificial island 人造小岛.
Santino would stack these up 囤积 during the morning, and then wait for visiting time, when the bombardment 炮击（用石头击打游人） would begin.
