我看一篇讲降低食物浪费小文章中有一句话：

请教这句话中cosplaymetic standards应该不是理解为化妆品标准吧？为何会在这里用呢？
cosplaymetic的本意是化妆品，这里引申为“外表，外观”的意思了。cosplaymetic standards，意思是“外观的规范”。也可以写成“cosplaymetic appearance standards”。原句中的的意思是部分食物不符合外观的规范，就直接在农场淘汰扔掉了呗。工业上有好多词的使用方法非常灵活非常有意思，譬如：male screw，外螺纹；female screw，内螺纹（母）；aluminum profile，铝型材；powder coated，粉末涂层，喷涂......
