在前面一个老师的解答中看到一个句子：
He went to Italyfor further study.
这里用的是 for further study，但我曾见过的是 forfurther studies，请问这里用 for further study 对吗？若对，那用 forfurther study 与用 for further studies 的不同之处呢？谢谢！

两个说法都对。study 表示“学习”，further study 或 further studies 表示“深造”。表达此意时，单数为不可数名词，复数为可数名词。意思基本相同。
