Eddie：How are you doing, John?
John：I'm good. How is your work?
Eddie：Well, actually I have quit my job. I wanna let you know first, dear friend.
John：What?Why?
Eddie：It is a long story. I've been here for too long.Next year will be my five-year anniversary.I need a new environment.Besides, our company is downsizing.I don't want to stay on just to be let go.
John：But they wouldn't count you in!You are the most experienced project manager here.

Eddie：Director of sale department. A nice pay rise with some nice perks, like a car, one month paid vacation, and an apartment downtown.And most importantly it’s an international company.I’m really looking forward to it.
John：It sounds like you can travel around and meet upper class people. I would take that offer if I got one.
