我在这句话中用了通常目前时，第二次用了通常过去时。
对于完成时我一直习惯在中文中找已经、一直这种词或者找有关的时间状语。
本题不是我首次出现此类错误一直看答案就感觉没什么，但下次还是错，请问老师在翻译题中如何确定目前完成时？

你说的句子之所以用目前完成时，与句首的 it is the firsttime…有关，由于 it isthe first time…后的从句习惯上要用目前完成时。又如：
This is the first time that I’ve heard her sing. 这是我头一次听她唱歌。
It’s the first time we’ve met in years. 这是大家多年来首次见面。
Is this the first time that you have stayed here? 你到这里来，这是首次吗?
It’s the first time that I’ve had occasion to complain. 这是我首次有理由抱怨。
This is the first time she has experienced disappointment. 这是她首次感觉到失望。
To our knowledge, this is the first time it has happened.据大家所知，这事是首次发生。
