The Chinese Academy of Sciences announced Monday that it will hold its 15th Public Science Day from May 18 to 19.

about 120 research institutes of the CAS throughout China will participate in the two-day science communication event. The public will have access to several state key laboratories, observatories, field stations as well as large-scale scientific facilities.中国科学院大约120个研究所将参加为期两天的科学传播活动。公众可以用几个国家重点实验室，天文台，野外站与大型科学设施。

According to Zhou Dejin, a CAS official, 2019 marks the 70th founding anniversary of the CAS and this year's event will showcase the academy's major scientific and technological innovations in recent years, allowing the public to experience the ever-changing scientific and technological innovations of China.据中科院官员周德进介绍，2019年是中国科学院成立70周年，今年的活动将展示近年来学院的重大科技革新，让公众体验中国不断变化的科技革新。
